Join HMNS on January 21st for a Virtual Science Literacy Night!
During this unique evening event, your students will be treated to a live talk with HMNS entomologist Erin Mills on why bugs are cool and why science is important. Then you'll discover just how cool science really can be during a liquid nitrogen demonstration with a Museum Outreach presenter. Finally, get your brain and your body going with some at-home engineering challenges to try with your family.
If you are one of our Educator Members, keep an eye out for Educator Eblasts to receive grade-level appropriate curriculum for your students to use during the event. If you are interested in a private event for your school or to join the Educator Email list, email educationquestions@hmns.org.
For this Virtual Science Literacy Night, students will be provided a link and password to the Zoom event as well as a basic supply list for the engineering challenges the day prior to the event via the email used during registration.
