Run For Green

Calling all families looking to get out into nature- it’s the 20th anniversary Run for Green! To celebrate this milestone, we’re adding a one-mile fun run/walk that kids and families will love. Runners and walkers of all abilities are invited to enjoy beauty of Davidson during the 10K and 5K, or fun run!

This is a huge year for Run for Green, DLC’s only fundraiser. It’s the 20th running of the race and there are a lot of changes. To celebrate our big anniversary, a large roundabout is being installed in the middle of the course at the intersection of Robert Walker and Davidson-Concord Road. This is great for traffic flow, but tough for runners, so we are suspending the half marathon this year. We encourage anyone planning to run the half, to please run the 10K. We have also added a one-mile fun run/walk this year. Early season prices are at their lowest so sign-up now and be part of this historic event and support conservation in our community.
