We also recognize that every member of our community is on their own journey. For some, resistance looks like organizing, advocating, and speaking out. For others, the weight of the moment means that simply existing - living honestly and authentically in their daily lives - is the bravest and most powerful act they can offer.
There is profound courage in existence, power in resistance, and strength in persistence.
Exist • Resist • Persist is a call to action and a promise to one another: that we will continue to speak out when we can, support one another when we can’t, and stand together in the face of injustice.
Pride has always been rooted in protest, and that spirit lives on here in Salisbury.
Because our presence matters. Our voices matter. And together, we will continue to exist, resist, and persist.
