Charlotte's resident opera company since 1948, Opera Carolina shares amazing performances on stages and in communities for adults, families, students, and more. In addition to performances, Opera Carolina offers unique ways to engage the community through opera and also shares the joy of singing with youth through its Academy.
The Academy Chorus is our children's chorus for 3rd-7th graders and meets weekly to learn singing fundamentals, explore foreign language, and learn and enjoy music together to share in concert and on the opera stage.
