Mecklenburg County 4-H invites educators and volunteers to participate in the Educator Training: Mars Base Camp STEM Kit. This engaging, virtual professional development session will introduce participants to the Mars Base Camp curriculum, a space exploration-themed STEM program designed to spark curiosity and problem-solving skills in youth.
Through hands-on activities and demonstrations, you’ll learn how to guide students in challenges that explore coding, engineering, science, and teamwork as they imagine building and sustaining life on Mars. The training will provide practical strategies, lesson plans, and resources to successfully integrate the kit into classrooms, after-school programs, or 4-H clubs.
Whether you are new to STEM education or looking to expand your toolkit, this session will prepare you to confidently lead youth through fun, interactive learning experiences that inspire innovation and critical thinking. The link to register can be found below.
