The Lotus Project
The LOTUS Project seeks to empower humans of all ages to rise up and conquer obstacles, for themselves, for others, for their community. Using the arts as a vehicle, our work focuses on self empowerment, relationship building, and community advocacy. Through creative expression, we look inward to discover ourselves; we look outward to learn about others; and we look forward to changing the world, one human at a time.
With a focus on inclusion, relationship building, conflict resolution, community advocacy, and social justice, we offer a variety of experiences for humans of all ages and backgrounds. From classes and camps, to corporate workshops and individual coaching, as well as full musical productions.
Our classes and camps focus on teaching children/teens skills in acting, singing, dancing, and visual art as well as self empowerment, conflict resolution, and community advocacy. Our LOTUS Arts Summer Intensive is available for K-9th grade and focuses on producing two full musicals in two different three week sessions.
Our productions are unique in that EVERYONE who comes to the audition is cast. We do not make cuts, as it is our belief that anyone who wants to gain experience being in a musical should get to! We offer productions specifically for kids (K-8th Grade), teens (6th-12th Grade), and adults. Join us for a professional level production with the feel of true community theatre.
Our workshops are designed for professionals and educators as well as community/social groups (this includes teens!). We currently offer workshops in the areas of Conflict Resolution, Communication, Relationship Building, and DEI. In addition, we specialize in designing custom workshops and experiences for different groups.
Part of our mission is making the arts accessible to ALL. It is for this reason that we offer scholarships and payment plans to aid those families in covering the cost of participation fees/tuition.
