11am: Militia Demo (Stage Ground)
11:45am: Scallywags, Swords & Shenanigans (Stage Ground)
12:30pm: Cannon Volley (Cannon Line)
1:30pm: Youth Costume Contest (Stage Ground)
2:45pm: Militia demo (Stage Ground)
3:30pm: Scallywags, Swords & Shenanigans (Stage Ground)
4:30pm: Pirate-Militia Battle (Cannon Line)
5:30pm: Closing Cannon
Other events will be on a continuing basis through-out the day. Visit the pirate encampment. Rummage through the Artisan Market and find a deal.
Pick up a Notorious 8 Card and track down some miscreants that are wandering free.
Go to Pirate School.
Getting hungry? Check out the assorted food.
Ask for a cannon demonstration. They just love firing those things. Take plenty of pictures with the privateers and immerse yourself in history. Remember your entry supports the farm and all pirates are volunteer. However, they won’t turn down a coin of the realm as appreciation of their hard work and dedication.
Where else can you have this much fun and still be engaged in education and history on a grand scale!
In addition, the Amazing Maize Maze will be open for your enjoyment.
Get your tickets in advance! Will be more expensive at the gate ($25/adult, $15/child)!
Pursuant to Mecklenburg County Ordinance, Rural Hill is a tobacco-free zone. This includes both smoking, smokeless tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaporizers and other such devices. This is a Mecklenburg County Law that Rural Hill must follow.
