Same great location as last year, at Ballantyne’s Backyard! It’s a beautiful setting for Charlotte’s Biggest, Baddest, Bone-In BBQ Festival – the Beer Bourbon & BBQ Festival. This 17th Annual affair is back and ready for more - it offers up all those pleasures that true Southerners live by - Beer, Bourbon, Barbeque, Boots, Bacon, Biscuits, Bluegrass and Smoked Beasts! It's a great day of beer sippin', bourbon tastin', music listenin', cigar smokin' and barbeque eatin'. Your Admission buys you a souvenir glass so you can enjoy an ALL-YOU-CARE-TO-TASTE sampling of the beer and bourbon. The Shrine of Swine is back with whole hogs and maybe some other surprises during each session. There is a VIP Session from 12pm-6pm and a General Admission Session from 2pm-6pm. Enjoy Seminars in the Tasting Theater with Master Distillers, Brewmasters and Pit Masters. Dance or Rock out to the bands playing your favorite tunes throughout the day. Enjoy yard games as you sample over 60 beers and over 40 bourbons. Browse and shop the brewerania, hot sauces and BBQ accessories. There will be other delicious food from the food trucks and restaurants to purchase.
VIP Admission - 12pm-6pm - Includes a souvenir tasting glass and 2 extra hours of sampling unlimited beer and bourbon tastings, a BBQ Dinner Plate, special VIP only Lounge Area (Lounge closes at 5pm) and all live entertainment. Access to the Shrine of Swine. All other food is available A La Carte (pay on your own).
