600 Festival Festival/Fair Committee. The 600 Festival Association is a nonprofit that has been commemorating the May races at Charlotte Motor Speedway with spectacular, family-oriented events for more than 30 years.
Originally formed to help promote the May races at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the 600 Festival Association has made a significant impact on the community by bringing race fans to the city early, promoting a positive image of the city, and providing entertainment and motor sports education to local residents. The nonprofit organization has created a variety of interactive fan experiences over the last 31 years including an air show in Concord, parades throughout the region, bicycle races, and, most notably, Speed Street, a multi-day consumer festival in Uptown Charlotte.
